The Association of Northeast Extension Directors’ (NEED) has launched a new annual regional awards program to celebrate and bring attention to exceptional Extension programs that are delivered locally. Endorsed nominations are due at 11:59 PM ET May 1, 2021.
This program, called the Exceptional Local Program Awards (ELPA) will be given annually in recognition of three Extension programs—one winner and two runners up—that deliver local impact that represents the work of individuals or teams. The purpose of the AAEPs is to celebrate exceptional programs that are delivered at the community level, respond directly to local issues or needs, and engage program planning and assessment throughout.

Want to propose a nomination package? Nominations are due from each NEED Member LGU’s Extension Director or Administrator at 11:59PM ET on May 1, 2021.
